St. Lambert on the south shore facing Montreal is an urbane, thriving and picturesque community. In the center of town, there is a small park, which inspired this painting. The colors and brushstrokes are loose. I tried to capture (as always) a sense of immediacy, tranquility; the quality of morning light which easily escapes our hurried experiences.
