This is another plein-air painting which I completed 'on the spot' on the West Island of Montreal some 15 years ago. On this occasion, I painted alone... 'sans' my friend, J-P. I remember a fine, sunny afternoon; people basking in the sun, sailboats on the distant water and everything being just as it should be during our Montreal summer.
